Die Ortsbezeichnung Abschnitt B5 definiert einen Streckenabschnitt der Autobahn 33, an dem etliche Einfamilienhäuser zwangsverkauft werden mussten, da sie auf dem zukünftigen Autobahnverlauf der Ausbaustrecke lagen. Der Impuls für die Langzeitdokumentation ist die Beobachtung der Geschichte des Ortes und die Suche nach der menschlichen Spur darin. Über die Aneignung des privaten Wohnraums bis hin zum Abbruch und der Errichtung des Streckenabschnitts verändert sie sich und ihre Gestalt kontinuierlich. 

Within Abschnitt B5 the subject matter remains the same location throughout the years. In the longtime observation of this specific place private homes were compulsorily sold, left and destroyed due to a soon to-be built Autobahn. The main impulse of the project is the story of the place and the human trace therein. The acquisition of private space, its destruction and the building of the route section keep the form of the human trail in continuous transformation.
