Abschnitt B5, 2006 – 2013
Die Arbeit Abschnitt B5 bezeichnet ein und den gleichen Ort, an dem etliche Einfamilienhäuser zwangsverkauft werden mussten, da sie auf einem zukünftigen Autobahnverlauf lagen.
Für mich ist der wesentliche Impuls dieser Arbeit die Geschichte des Ortes und die menschliche Spur darin. Über die Aneignung des privaten Wohnraums bis hin zum Abbruch und der Errichtung des Streckenabschnitts verändert sie sich und ihre Gestalt kontinuierlich.
Within Abschnitt B5 the subject matter remains the same location throughout the years. It serves as an artistic documentation of private homes having to be compulsorily sold, left and destroyed due to a soon to-be built autobahn. The main impulse of this work is the story of the place and the human trace therein. The acquisition of private space, its destruction and the building of the route section keep the form of the human trail in continuous transformation.
